If you need dentures in the form of crowns, bridges, prostheses, etc. despite regular dental check-ups and early detection of dental diseases, you will receive an extra subsidy from your health insurance company depending on the completeness of the bonus booklet: a period of 5 years results in a bonus of 10%, a period of 10 years of complete documentation of the annual check-up results in a bonus of 15%. It can occur after specific dental treatments such as filling therapies, root canal treatments, implantation, etc.<\/p>\n

For quick relief, it is usually sufficient to protect the affected side of the mouth and take anti-inflammatory herbal remedies (camomile, arnica, propolis) or painkillers (ibuprofen).<\/p>\n

However, these should not replace a check-up at the dentist, but merely make a visit to the dental emergency service avoidable.<\/p>\n

The use of fluoride pastes often helps with teeth that are sensitive to cold.<\/p>\n

Toothache in the upper jaw during severe colds is due to the swollen mucous membrane in the maxillary sinuses.<\/p>\n

Pain that radiates into the ear can be caused by an inflamed tooth root and inflammation in the temporomandibular joint. Here, too, the dentist must make a diagnosis to determine the right treatment.<\/p>\n

Toothache in babies and small children often has to do with newly erupting teeth. A brief visit to the dentist is always recommended here.<\/p>\n

If there is any kind of swelling in the jaw or facial area, a visit to the dentist is essential and cannot be postponed!<\/p>\n
