Our Range Of Services

All these services are available under sedation or general anesthesia.

Tooth Preservation

General, Preventive Dentistry

Visit us every six months for a preventive check-up to avoid potential complications or detect them at an early stage.

As part of the check-up, we examine the condition of the oral mucosa (oral cancer screening) and determine gum pocket depths, bleeding and receding gums. An increased incidence of bad breath can also be caused by a combination of sulphur-producing bacterial strains in gum pockets. This is precisely what halitosis therapy is aimed at.

Regular digital x-rays help to detect tooth decay and chronic changes such as tumors or cysts in the bone at an early stage. Of course, we individually weigh up the risk/benefit factor for the patient.

Time required: approx. 15 minutes every six months
For new patients who come to our practice for the first time, 60 minutes including a detailed survey of the previous history & consultation

Professional Tooth Cleaning

Professional tooth cleaning is a preventative measure for healthy gums and intact tooth surfaces. Soft and hard plaque is removed from the teeth and they are gently polished. They are our daily tools and deserve special care. The clean and smooth, slightly squeaky feeling on the teeth as well as the brighter appearance after a professional dental cleaning is unbeatable! Our dental hygienist will show you how to use the right oral hygiene products for you.

Time required: 30 – 60 minutes depending on the number of teeth and the amount of work required

Organic Tooth Cleaning

Similar to professional dental cleanings, the teeth are thoroughly cleaned and polished. While traditional dental prophylaxis aims to treat problems by using chemical substances, biological dental prophylaxis tries to keep the environment in the mouth in balance to prevent problems in the first place.

The difference lies in the use of purely biological dental care products, which contain natural ingredients such as herbal extracts, essential oils and salts.

The focus is not only on thorough cleaning of the teeth, but also on the use of natural ingredients and the teaching of a healthy diet.

Time required: 60 minutes

Filling Therapy in Tooth Color

Tooth defects can be repaired with fillings or dental prostheses in the form of inlays, partial crowns and crowns.

Caries is a decay of dental tissue caused by bacteria and should be removed as quickly as possible. Without diagnosis and treatment, bacteria can penetrate deeper into your tooth and destroy even more tooth structure. Our tooth-colored filling materials are of high quality and enable a natural appearance without being visible from the outside, long-lasting support over several years and quick and minimally invasive insertion into the defect.

Root Canal Treatment and Root Tip Resection

Root canal treatments are probably the most notorious procedure in dentistry and also the most misunderstood. The truth is that a root canal is an effective way to stop throbbing or stabbing pain and save your tooth. This pain is related to the nerves in the root of the tooth. The nerves infected by decay bacteria or tooth trauma must be removed and the root canal cleaned and sealed. If left untreated, an infection can turn into an abscess, a much more serious problem that leads to missing teeth and bone loss in the jaw.

If the bone tissue remains inflamed after root canal treatment, an apicoectomy – the removal of the diseased root tip – is performed in an attempt to preserve the tooth. The surrounding bone tissue is also freed from the inflamed tissue and a bacteria-proof closure of the remaining canal section is ensured.

Periodontitis Prophylaxis

Similar to professional dental cleanings, the teeth are thoroughly cleaned. Periodontitis prophylaxis is used to accompany periodontitis patients and includes an additional assessment of inflammation parameters, deep cleaning and instructions on how to optimize oral hygiene. These measures counteract the progression of the chronic disease and prevent further destruction of the periodontium.

Time required: 30-60 depending on the number of teeth and effort involved

Periodontitis Treatment

If it is not the tooth but the surrounding gums that are inflamed or damaged, this is also a reason for a prompt visit to the dentist: if the symptoms persist for a long time, swelling and/or bleeding of the gums can lead to tooth loosening with subsequent tooth loss. This is periodontitis, a common and unfortunately chronic periodontal disease.

Side effects such as heart disease and miscarriages in pregnant women have been scientifically proven. Periodontal disease therefore not only requires thorough treatment, but also close monitoring including regular dental cleanings as part of a structured hygiene program.

Surgical Dentistry

Dental surgery includes measures to preserve teeth, bone contouring and the permanent replacement of teeth (implants).

The most notorious surgical procedure is tooth extraction. In some cases, such as deep carious destruction, trauma or crooked, displaced wisdom teeth, the affected teeth must be removed. We will do everything we can to make this treatment as painless and forgettable as possible.

Pediatric Prophylaxis

Children and teenagers (with or without braces) receive an intensive dental cleaning in a playful way. All tooth surfaces are gently cleaned and polished. Practical tooth brushing exercises are designed to help children learn an independent and responsible approach to their own oral hygiene.

If desired, only dental care products with purely organic ingredients can be used for an additional charge.

Time required: 30-45 minutes depending on the effort involved

Pregnancy Prophylaxis

Pregnancy is always accompanied by changes in the hormonal balance and changes in the oral flora and immune defenses in the mouth. In connection with the oral cavity, this means frequent bleeding gums and associated gum recession. Good oral health of the mother also supports the development of healthy teeth in infants and young children.

Professional dental prophylaxis is particularly important during this time and should be carried out once after the 3rd month of pregnancy and at the end of the 7th month of pregnancy. A new dental cleaning is recommended 12 weeks after delivery.

In addition to determining the inflammation and plaque parameters, the teeth and oral cavity are gently cleaned. If desired, only organic products with natural ingredients can be used.

Time required: 45-60 minutes

Stomatitis Prophylaxis as an Accompanying Measure Before Surgery or Chemotherapy Or Radiotherapy

Our oral cavity is characterized by an individual oral flora. The balance of these microorganisms can be disturbed by immunodeficiency and cause infections that can spread throughout the body.

Side effects of surgery and radiotherapy or chemotherapy as a result of the medication used can include dry mouth, inflammation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa and aphthae.

Accompanying professional tooth cleaning is intended to alleviate inflammatory reactions and moisturize the oral cavity. Only natural organic oral care products that are free from additives are used.

Time required: 60 minutes

Dental Crowns

Fillings are often not sufficient for severely damaged teeth; a more stable metallic or ceramic stabilization of the remaining tooth substance in the form of a crown is required.

A dental crown is like a cap that covers the entire visible part of the tooth, protecting its remaining structure and restoring it to its original shape, size and color.

You may also need a crown to repair a broken tooth or as the final stage of root canal treatment or a dental implant.

Dental Bridges

Have you lost one or more teeth? Then a dental bridge could be an option because, as the name suggests, it “bridges” the gap left by a missing tooth in your mouth. In this procedure, the bridge is held in place by the neighboring teeth next to the gap.

Dental bridges are fixed and are considered by many to be a better alternative to removable partial dentures. We can help you decide whether this treatment is right for you.

Dentures

When teeth are missing, your bite can be severely impaired. We treat you with functional and aesthetically pleasing dentures.

Implants are small screws that are anchored in the jawbone and can be fitted with a crown after a healing period of at least 4 months. They provide an equivalent replacement for missing teeth and thus improve your quality of life.

Our implant restorations are permanently fixed and are made from the highest quality biocompatible materials. We will help you understand your treatment options and advise you which treatment plan is right for you.

Dental Veneers

If you have cosmetic concerns about your teeth, porcelain veneers are one of the fastest ways to improve your smile and align and perfect your teeth without braces.

Veneers are thin, durable and customized porcelain shells for your teeth and protect against staining, cracking and chipping of the enamel.

Dental Prosthesis

If you are missing several teeth due to tooth decay, injury or the natural ageing process, a removable partial denture or full denture may be the perfect solution.

Tooth or implant-supported dentures are another option. Modern dentures are made of high-tech, durable materials and are much easier to maintain than you might think. When properly designed and fitted, your dentures will behave much like natural teeth and restore your ability to smile, speak and chew with confidence.

We will help you compare treatment options and provide you with all the information you need to make the best decision for you.

Cosmetic Dentistry

General, Cosmetic Dentistry

Coffee, tea and other foods stain our teeth every day, and even the best care can’t combat this. Teeth whitening is an excellent way to restore the natural color of your teeth – or even make them whiter than your natural color if you wish. As part of a bleaching/whitening treatment, we make individual trays for bleaching gel, which we give you to take home for night-time use. It is also possible to bleach individual teeth in the practice using special devices and to whiten discolored teeth that have undergone root canal treatment.

Talk to us, we will be happy to advise you and always endeavor to put a beautiful smile on your face!

Time required: 30 minutes for a consultation on the individual forms of therapy

Gum-related aesthetic impairments can be caused by receding gums, gum growths or too much gum envelopment when smiling (gummy smile). Surgical measures are possible here. Corrective measures are possible. Talk to us about it!

Invisalign Aligners

Invisalign aligners are invisible thin splints that straighten your teeth in an invisible way and help to avoid the discomfort of conventional metal brackets. You will be able to see small results after just 2 weeks of wearing them. The total wearing time depends on the extent of the necessary tooth alignment correction.

Be wary of trendy teeth straightening kits on social media. Something as serious as tooth alignment with the corresponding side effects on gums and bone should always be guided and monitored by a dentist.

TMJ Therapy for CMD, Splint Therapy

Craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) is a hidden disorder behind chronic head and neck/shoulder pain, migraines, tinnitus, dizziness, jaw joint noises and mouth opening problems.

The cause of these symptoms is your temporomandibular joint, which is located directly in front of the entrance to the ear. A detailed examination of the entire body system with regard to muscular imbalances and insufficient tooth contact relationships, followed by splint therapy, among other things, helps to eliminate or at least alleviate the symptoms.

This medical condition usually severely impairs your quality of life and is a disease that is often not recognized, even though the teeth often already show visible damage.

Sleep Splints for Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Another area of application for splint therapy is sleep therapy: obstructive sleep apnea, i.e. a sleep-related breathing disorder caused by constriction of the throat, can be successfully treated with a suitable and specially made dental splint for the night and massively improve the quality of sleep as well as your quality of life during the day.

Sports Mouthguard

Custom-made splints (sports protection) are also used for sports. Do your children play contact sports such as soccer, basketball or field hockey? All of these and other sports can lead to chipped and cracked teeth. We offer custom-made mouthguards to protect their teeth.

Further Services

Treatment of Anxious Patients

Above all, the behavioral guidance and communication with patients with dental phobia requires a particularly attentive and sensitive approach. Patients with anxiety feel very comfortable with me and in most cases treatment under sedation or general anesthesia is no longer necessary. However, these procedures are also part of our range of services.

Can I Be Given General Anesthesia for Dental Treatment?

Our practice specializes in anxiety patients and tries to enable dental treatment without general anaesthesia in advance using behavioural psychology methods. As an intermediate step if you are still anxious and uncomfortable, we offer a so-called twilight sleep, which puts you in a state of extreme calmness. You will need an accompanying person to collect you after the treatment.

In exceptional cases, we can arrange general anesthesia treatment in cooperation with anesthetists.

Holistic Forms of Therapy

Our practice takes a holistic approach. We also offer holistic forms of therapy such as oral acupuncture.

Pediatric Dentistry

Children are not “little adults” and, due to their special needs, require a very special, playful type of therapy, both in terms of behavior and approach. A visit to the dentist can be a wonderful experience!

As part of pediatric dentistry, I offer preventive check-ups, nutritional advice, oral hygiene advice and instruction, teeth cleaning, fluoridation, dental sealants and filling therapy for permanent and primary teeth.

I have a lot of experience in dealing with children, even if they already suffer from dental anxiety, have special needs and/or impairments.
